  We like to think Saintcrow Gallery is more than a shop though; it's an experience, a journey into the extraordinary. Our collection of natural curiosities and oddities invites you to explore the realms of wonder and fascination.

  Our journey began in 2014 as a stall at Victoria Park Market in Auckland under the name Scarecrow & Sons, where we first shared our fascination with the strange and unusual. Our passion and commitment to offering unique and captivating items quickly captured the imaginations of our patrons, leading us to expand our presence to various markets and shows throughout New Zealand.

  When COVID disrupted the markets and shows, we decided it was time for a change. We sought out a permanent residence for our cabinet of curiosities and Scarecrow & Sons became Saintcrow Gallery. This provided us with a stable workshop space and allowed us to continue showcasing our curated collection of the strange and unusual.

 

  At Saintcrow Gallery, we take pride in our relentless pursuit of the strange and unusual. We scour the earth to bring you authentic treasures, from real skulls and skeletons to meticulously preserved taxidermy specimens and beyond. Each item is selected with care, embodying the essence of curiosity and mystique.

  Michael Saint-Scott, professional picture framer, skillfully enhances the allure of our unique finds by framing each item on-site. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for presentation, Michael transforms our offerings, including framed butterflies, bats, spiders, beetles, scorpions, and dragonflies, into captivating works of art. Utilising preservation-grade materials and techniques, the framing process ensures that every piece becomes a focal point of fascination, preserving the beauty and intricacy of these extraordinary specimens.
