Elephant Scarab Pair (Heliocopris dominus- M+F)

 Heliocopris dominus are one of the largest species of dung beetle on earth and these two are particularly big, measuring approx. 7cm in length. They are mounted here on acid-free white mat board with a black whitecore mat border in a 4cm deep shadow box frame, with fine conservation clear glass for added UV protection and clearer viewing . To accomodate their size the back of the frame has been extended by another 5mm. Frame measures 24x18cm.
